The rating of this product was a result of consideration of over 800 customer reviews. Here are some of the comments.
“Our garage door is a very heavy insulated door and the unit has no issues raising or lowering the door. Programming the unit for the endpoints is very simple and easy.”
“Came with all batteries. My wife loved how quiet it was. Aside from my bodily aches and pains, it was a trouble-free installation. Most of my work was to take down the old Stanley opener and prepare the way for the new one.”
“Unit is very quiet and when you Install make sure to change Rollers on side of Door, makes it very quiet operation. Thank you Chamberlain and product support team.”
“The first thing I notice about the new unit is how quiet it is compared to the old ones. You can barely hear the motor from the attached house, and what noise there is comes from an older garage door. The hardware (interior and exterior keypads) look reasonably modern and professional when mounted to a wall- although I don’t really care about exposed wiring running along my garage walls.”
“The belt drive delivers fast, very low noise operation … no lubricated chain … no lubricated ball screw. There’s no question that belt-drive is the future. This is a DC drive motor with recharging batteries as back-up. The door works when the power goes out.The magic of this model is the integration with the home controller and cell phone. The car is new and was Wi-Fi and Bluetooth compatible. The days of the independent remote are numbered.”
