The Genie Chain Lift garage door opener is a professionally installed, DC powered chain drive garage door opener. The quiet DC motor has enough power for all one car and most two car garage doors.

Genie Chain Lift Garage Door OpenerFrom the Genie Pro® line, the ChainLift® model has a pre-assembled rail and the power head is light enough for one person to install. The DC motor is quieter than AC powered chain drive openers, but you might still want to consider a belt drive model if you have living space adjacent to or above your garage.

Adding to the reliability and longevity of this opener is a dual pinion gear chain drive. The DC motor also allows for soft start and stop, creating a quieter opening and closing cycle and limiting wear and tear on the garage door.

Standard Genie safety and security features include the comprehensive Safe-T-Beam® self diagnostic system, auto reversing technology, infrared safety beam and manual door release. Intellicode® rolling code technology keeps your remote codes secure by changing the codes after every opening and closing cycle.

Additional features include a 5-year motor warranty with a 5-year parts warranty. The Genie ChainLift® is also compatible with HomeLink® and Car2U™ systems.
