The Overhead Door Signature screw drive garage door opener is a solid performer. Direct drive power and fewer moving parts provides quiet and reliable operation.

Overhead Door Signature Screw Drive The Signature Screw Drive® garage door opener uses a screw drive machined from a single piece of solid steel for higher strength and longer life. This is Overhead Door Corporation’s basic, no frills screw drive model. It’s not fancy, but it performs consistently well.

Overhead Door Signature Screw Drive Features

Designed for use with most single and double car garage doors, the Screw Drive® comes in two models with more of less options. The wall control can be a single, illuminated button (like a door bell) or a multi-button controller with vacation lock and independent light control. Remote controls are available in 1-Button or Multi-Button varieties. An optional digital wireless keypad can also be added to provide secure entry without a remote control.

Your Overhead Door dealer can customize accessories to suit your needs, and the Signature Screw Drive model is HomeLink® compatible.

Overhead Door Safety and Security

The Screw Drive® includes the full complement of Overhead Door’s security and safety features. CodeDodger® rolling code remotes and the six part Safe-T-Beam® self diagnostic system are standard. The Safe-T-Beam® system stops and reverses the garage door when operation is interrupted (see more details below).

NOTE: The Signature Screw Drive standard installation is for garage doors up to 7 feet 6 inches tall. A rail extension kit is available for 8 foot tall doors.
